APRN regulation promotes patient safety. Understanding regulation is crucial to APRN role implementation. In this session a panel discusses key foundational issues affecting APRN practice using a case study format. Topics include scope of practice and APRN Compact licensure. A decision-making tool for determining the alignment of specific interventions with the APRN’s scope of practice is introduced. There is opportunity for audience participation.Learners must complete the entire activity and the associated evaluation AND read Implicit Bias impacts patient outcomes. No partial credit will be awarded.
