Activity Summary

AI promises to revolutionize healthcare, reduce the burden on clinicians and improve patient outcomes. It almost sounds too good to be true. The reality is that effective, accurate and practice-enhancing AI cannot be successful without the voice of the nurse at the table. While AI is not coming to take our jobs, expect to see nurses using AI to transform healthcare delivery. This session provides insight into how AI is being used in healthcare today and discusses the role of nursing in development and evaluation of AI.
