Activity Summary

A focused update of the Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Prevention and Management of Pain, Agitation/Sedation, Delirium, Immobility and Sleep Disruption (PADIS) from the Society of Critical Care Medicine reflects new evidence since the last guideline update in 2018. This session covers five statements from the PADIS task force relating to the management of anxiety, agitation/sedation, delirium, immobility and sleep disruption. It provides an in-depth overview of each statement, including rationale and implications for practice.
