Nursing attrition is a significant issue in healthcare today, and staff feelings of workplace safety contribute to professional quality of life and retention. Participants learn how environmental safety assessments, duress alarms, and changes to policies improved perceptions of workplace safety in one critical care unit leading to hospital-wide change.
