This session reviews the prompt recognition of changes in neurologic assessment for early interventions to decrease potential complications and delayed cerebral ischemia. Attendees gain evidence-based approaches to potentially improve the quality of life for aSAH patients and discussion of the latest developments in clinical trials of novel medications.

Objectives

  • Explain the clinical presentation, diagnosis and grading scales for SAH.
