Learn strategies for optimizing mechanical ventilator settings for your patients. This session presents case studies to demonstrate the adjustment of mechanical ventilator settings. Waveform analysis is explained to allow you to optimize the patient-ventilator interaction to prevent ventilator-associated lung injury and improve patient comfort. This session improves your confidence in managing mechanically ventilated patients of multiple diagnoses, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia and severe ARDS.
