Activity Summary

Change can be both fun and frustrating. This session meets needs of intermediate to advanced participants who want a more effective approach for adopting EBP in their clinical setting. This interactive learning session describes how to use an implementation framework, applying tools by practicing with a clinically relevant EBP topic selected by participants. Each step is outlined for both implementation and sustainability. Reduce risk for change fatigue by creating an effective implementation plan to improve patient outcomes.

Objectives

  • Identify baseline data needed to focus specifically on local needs and gaps which impact adoption of EBP.
  • Describe implementation strategies which address local needs or gaps that are effective for adoption of EBP.
  • Select one practice learned at NTI and participate in a plan to promote change.
