Following the COVID-19 pandemic, a high-acuity Medical Intensive Care Unit experiences significant challenges related to burnout and retention. Research suggests that improving the work environment can positively impact these issues and simultaneously enhance patient outcomes. Join us as we delve into an evidence based nurse-driven initiative centered around leveraging the AACN Healthy Work Environment and Beacon. Learn how this initiative has positively impacted our staff and patient outcomes, while simultaneously learning about the new Beacon award program.
