Activity Summary

Many local AACN chapters continue to face challenges post-COVID, ranging from declining event attendance, limited member engagement and struggles with board leadership, to challenges with determining strategic direction. Paralleling the methods of ACLS (pre-brief, resuscitation and debrief) in this session, we explore chapter resources, share stories of our mistakes and successes and provide a veritable crash cart of tools to employ in your local chapter.

Objectives

  • Discuss strategies to develop a healthy culture for member engagement.
  • Identify tools and resources available for chapter leaders.
  • Describe strategies for leadership development and succession planning for local chapters.
