AACN’s success as a leading organization for acute, progressive and critical care nurses relies on word-of-mouth communication and support to share the value of belonging to AACN with the larger nursing community. Our ambassadors are dedicated volunteers who champion AACN programs, products and services for nurse colleagues, peers and leaders, keeping our community of exceptional nurses vibrant and strong.

Have you considered becoming an AACN ambassador? Let us introduce you to this dynamic position.

AACN Ambassador Purpose

Our ambassadors commit to supporting AACN’s mission and vision by familiarizing themselves with AACN programs, products and services and actively including these areas in their conversations with other nurses. This type of personal sharing and tap on the shoulder has proven to be one of the most effective ways to generate interest in AACN’s offerings and the professional support we provide.

Some areas that AACN ambassadors have chosen to champion include:

Membership in AACN

Specialty certification for acute, progressive and critical care nurses

Evidence-based practice standards and protocols

Recognition of excellence through the Beacon Award for Excellence program

Nurse innovation and empowerment through AACN Clinical Scene Investigator (CSI) Academy

Local AACN chapter involvement

Educational opportunities including NTI, online courses and free continuing education (CE) activities
