How do I take advantage of the Certification Organization Discount?
- Organizations must purchase a minimum of 30 certification exam vouchers; any combination of eligible exams may be selected.

What do I get with my purchase?
Your Certification Organization Discount purchase includes:
- Exam vouchers for each certification exam purchased
- One institutional license for the AACN certification review course associated with each exam type purchased (excluding CMC & CSC); courses may be uploaded to your Intranet/network system
Does my certification discount include AACN membership?
No, membership is not included. Learn more about our AACN membership discounts on our website or call AACN Customer Care at 800-899-2226.
Do all 30+ exams purchased have to be for the same credential?
No. Different eligible exams may be combined to make up the minimum of 30 certification vouchers.
Does the hospital need to sign a contract?
No. Contracts are not required. Simply complete the exam voucher request form and submit it with required payment to AACN.
What if I want to buy more exams after my initial purchase?
Additional exam vouchers may be purchased in quantities of 10 within one year of the original voucher purchase date. After one year, the 30 certification exam voucher minimum applies.
What testing methods are available?
Exams must be taken via computer-based testing at a PSI testing center or via live remote proctoring from your own computer/desk in a quiet, private location. For details, refer to the Certification Exam Policy Handbook. The discount offer is not valid for group paper-and-pencil exam sessions.
Can candidates use exams vouchers for retesting and recertification?
Yes. Organizations may choose to distribute multiple exam vouchers to individual nurses, if needed, for retesting or recertification. Knowing they have a backup option often reduces candidates’ test anxiety and fear of failure.
Are exam discount prices the same for AACN members and nonmembers?
Yes. The same discounted exam price applies regardless of AACN membership status.
