Essentials of Pediatric Critical Care Orientation (EPCCO) is an online course that provides foundational nursing education on pediatric critical care, imparting valuable knowledge and tools needed to care for the most vulnerable children.
The content is developed in collaboration with clinical content experts and Pediatric Learning Solutions (a product of Children’s Hospital Association) to advance pediatric nursing education. The modules are divided into seven units that cover Patient Care, Cardiovascular Care, Pulmonary Care, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Renal Care, Endocrine and Hematology, and Trauma.

- Evaluate assessment data, and implement a plan of care using evidence-based strategies specific to the acutely and critically ill child.
- Demonstrate knowledge of common conditions experienced by acutely and critically ill pediatric patients.
