Eligibility
The Bedside to Beachside Hotel Giveaway is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. American Association of Critical-Care (AACN) team members, AACN board members, AACN Certification Corporation board members, National Teaching Institute & Critical Care Exposition (NTI) facilitators, NTI exhibitors and AACN social media influencers and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
Sweepstakes Period
The Bedside to Beachside Hotel Sweepstakes begins on Dec. 2, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. PT and ends on Jan. 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT ("sweepstakes period"). Entries received before or after the Bedside to Beachside Hotel Sweepstakes Period are not eligible.
How to Enter
Eligible participants automatically receive one (1) entry when they purchase a paid registration for NTI during the Bedside to Beachside Hotel Sweepstakes Period. Limit one entry per registrant.
Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE):
To enter without purchase, complete the online AMOE entry form available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/72JB8DC during the Bedside to Beachside Hotel Sweepstakes Period. You must provide your full name, email address, mailing address and phone number. Limit one (1) AMOE entry per person. AMOE entries must be submitted by Jan. 15, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT. AMOE entries have the same chance of winning as purchase entries.
Prize
One (1) winner will receive a four-night stay at their choice of hotels available on the NTI official housing site (the "Prize") for the duration of NTI (May 17-20, 2026). Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Prize is $1,200. The Prize has no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash or credit. No substitution, exchange, or transfer of the Prize is permitted except at the discretion of AACN.
Prize Conditions:
The prize covers only the cost of the four-night room rate and applicable room rate tax. All other expenses are expressly excluded and are the sole responsibility of the winner. Excluded expenses include, without limitation, taxes, resort or facility fees, security deposits, incidentals, telephone charges, internet access, parking, room service, meals, beverages, transportation, gratuities and any other personal or miscellaneous costs. The prize has no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash, credit, or any alternative compensation. Hotel selection is subject to availability and standard room type. The prize may only be used in connection with attendance at NTI.
Taxes & Fees:
The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, insurance, fees and any other costs or surcharges associated with acceptance or use of the Prize. If required by law, AACN may issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC for the value of the prize. The winner may be required to provide a valid taxpayer identification number and complete an IRS Form W-9 before the prize is awarded.
Winner Selection and Notification
One winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about Jan. 19, 2026 from all eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified via email/phone using the contact information provided. The winner must respond within 5 days to claim the prize. If the winner does not respond, declines the prize, or is found ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Publicity
By entering, participants agree that AACN may use the winner's name, city and state, likeness and statements about the Bedside to Beachside Hotel Sweepstakes for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
General Conditions
AACN reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Bedside to Beachside Hotel Sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, or any other factor beyond AACN's reasonable control impairs or affects the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by AACN.
Without limiting the foregoing, AACN shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Official Rules if such failure or delay is caused by events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God; natural disasters; fire; flood; earthquake; severe weather; war; terrorism; civil unrest; labor disputes or strikes; embargos; public health crises or pandemics; government shutdowns or restrictions; power outages; or failures of any public communications or transportation systems ("Force Majeure Events").
AACN further reserves the right to modify the Prize if the original Prize becomes unavailable due to a Force Majeure Event, or to terminate the Sweepstakes if continuation is not reasonably possible. In the event the Sweepstakes is terminated, AACN may, at its discretion, select a winner from among all eligible entries received up to the date of termination.
Any attempt by an entrant to damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. AACN reserves the right to seek damages and pursue all available legal remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Release & Limitations of Liability
By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless AACN and its employees and representatives from any liability for claims, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from participation or the acceptance or use of the prize.
Disputes
The Bedside to Beachside Hotel Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved individually, and participants waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitration.
